Part of you wants to stop. Another part keeps returning to the same cycle.
Maybe you make promises to yourself, hide what is happening, or feel disconnected from the people you love. You want more choice, but willpower alone has not changed the pattern.
I offer IFS-informed therapy for unwanted pornography use and compulsive sexual behaviors. We work toward understanding what drives the cycle and building greater choice, connection, and freedom.

Therapy for Porn & Compulsive Sexual Behaviors
You’re not broken. Let’s understand the pattern.
Porn or sexual behavior may offer temporary relief from loneliness, stress, shame, or feeling overwhelmed. For some people, that relief becomes a pattern that conflicts with the life and relationships they want.
My IFS-informed approach helps us get curious about the parts of you that reach for relief and the parts that criticize or want change. We listen without excusing behavior that harms you or others.
We explore your experience rather than assuming that every sexual behavior is an addiction. Your goals, values, relationships, and sense of choice guide the work.
You might notice time slipping away, secrecy growing, intimacy feeling harder, or shame taking up more space than you want. We look honestly at the impact without turning it into a verdict on who you are.
What is this pattern costing you?
| What you may notice | What we can work toward |
|---|---|
| Secrecy or fear of being known | Greater honesty and a steadier sense of self |
| Feeling disconnected from others | More presence and connection |
| Sexual behavior feels compulsive | More choice and intimacy aligned with your values |
| Urges and shame occupy your attention | Responding to urges without losing your day |
| Time or money spent beyond your intentions | Boundaries that protect what matters to you |
What would you want to reclaim—your time, trust, attention, or a more connected relationship? Those goals give our work direction.
Therapy can help you explore the cycle and practice a different response. Change takes time, and we review what is helping together.
From compulsion toward greater choice.
We work with the parts of you that feel lonely, ashamed, afraid, or drawn toward excitement. Alongside deeper understanding, we practice recognizing triggers, responding to urges, setting workable boundaries, and building sources of connection and support.
Our goals may include less secrecy, a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and greater ability to stay present through stress or loneliness. When trauma or relationship difficulties are part of the picture, we make room for them too.
